In the suburbs of the Japanese capital Tokyo lives the fastest man on four legs. For a decade, Kenichi Ito has lived on all fours, perfecting a running style based on the wiry Patas monkey of Africa. Now he holds the world record for four-legged sprinting.

Ito says he always felt ‘part ape’ so he decided to become one.
