More bad headlines for Blatter and Co.
World football’s governing body Fifa has been rocked by the news that former president Joao Havelange has been implicated in a bribery scandal.
The Brazilian, 96, used to run the global game between 1974 and 1998 before handing over power to the current Fifa president Sepp Blatter.
However, Havelange has now been forced to give up his title of honorary president of the organisation having been named as a recipient of bribes in a scandal involving the governing body.
