Terry had been expected to move on this summer as he is now at the ripe old age of 34, but alongside Gary Cahill he has managed to prove that his age is not slowing him down just yet.
A lot of this could be attributed down to the return of manager Jose Mourinho. Terry had lost his way both on and off the pitch during the Special One’s absence, but he has gone from strength to strength since his return.
In the interview Terry says that he felt he deserved an extended stay at the club and highlighted how amazed he was to have lasted so long at Stamford Bridge considering how many talented megastars had come and gone during that time.
