Washington Wizards point guard John Wall led his team to a monster second quarter as they look to take Game 2 against the Toronto Raptors.
The Wizards are a game up in the series and are looking to secure their second road win which would undoubtedly put them in a strong position to advance to the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
After going on a 13-0 run in the second quarter, they appear on the right track with Wall leading them with two plays that typified what the explosive star is all about.
The lesson to be learned here is don’t allow him to have an open court in front of him as the Wizards star has the pace to leave others behind as he finished with authority with a two-handed slam on the second play.
It appeared to fire him up as he celebrated with some real passion, but it remains to be seen if the Raptors can spark themselves back into life and make a comeback in the second half to avoid falling into a deep hole in this opening round playoff series.
