Terrible mistake in overtime puts LA Kings at a disadvantage in first round of the post-season.
Despite being the hero of the LA Kings’ Stanley Cup winning team only a year ago, this year’s postseason could not have started in a worse way for Johnathan Quick and the team, as an innocuous goal tend, turned into a horrific error of judgement, and gave the St Louis Blues the playoff lead.
Alexander Steen could not miss, as he was able to snatch away the puck from the goalkeeper and slot the winning goal into an empty net in overtime, sending the home fans into raptures.
Despite this, Quick is still one of the best in the game at what he does, and expect him to fully recover for game two on Thursday.
