Spaniard continues scoring form for southern giants.
Napoli star Jose Callejon scored a brilliant curling golazo in the 2-1 win over Catania on Saturday night, which helped keep the Azzurri joint second in the Serie A table.
The 26-year-old arrived from Real Madrid this summer, and has been a revelation for Rafa Benitez’s side with his consistent goal-scoring form and contribution to the side.
While Napoli remain in joint-second place along with Juventus after their win, they closed the gap to leaders Roma back to two points ahead of the Giallorossi’s clash with Torino on Sunday night.
However, Benitez will be delighted with the start that they have made to the season which has included nine wins, one draw and one solitary defeat.
In addition, he will be thrilled with the immediate impact Callejon is having, and the Spaniard added to his collection of memorable goals scored for the club with his effort at the San Paolo on Saturday night.
Marek Hamsik added a second, while Lucas Castro grabbed a goal back for the visitors which ultimately turned out to be nothing more than a consolation effort.
