Brazilian midfielder Juninho Pernambucano has called time on his illustrious playing career aged 39.

The mercurial playmaker is currently in his third spell with Vasco Da Gama and and the club’s president, Roberto Dynamite, confirmed Wednesday’s 4-0 win at Audax would be Juninho’s last game.
