Fabio Quagliarella has given Juventus a second goal as they cruise to victory in their tie with Celtic.
As the game has worn on, Juventus’ ball control and quality in possession has helped them break down a tired Celtic team as they lead 2-0.
As the away side have been constantly chasing the ball down throughout the night and pressing Juventus high, their defensive shape was always at risk at being broken down.
The age-defying master Andrea Pirlo broke down the stout Celtic defence with a pinpoint pass over the top of the back-line to find Arturo Vidal on the edge of the six yard box.
Vidal then had the easy choice of squaring the ball to Quagliarella who had the simple tap in from six yards into an empty net.
It has been a spirited and determined effort from the Scottish side, but sadly tonight they have simply been no match to the far superior Italian giants, who will be full of confidence heading into the Quarter Finals.
