Juventus conceded a 92nd minute goal to throw away all three points as they drew 1-1 with Frosinone this evening in Serie A.
They took the lead thanks to a deflected Simone Zaza strike early in the second half, but Leonardo Blanchard’s goal deep in added time stole a point for the visitors.
It means Juventus have now won just one of their opening five games of the season; it’s a run of form that is starting to put Massimiliano Allegri and his squad under real pressure.
A home game against newly promoted Frosinone, who were without a point prior to tonight, should have been a guaranteed three points. Instead, Blanchard’s late goal means the Turin-based side are left languishing down in 13th place with just five points from five games.
Frosinone stay bottom, but move move level with Carpi on one point. The point could prove to be a much-needed catalyst in their bid to stay in the top flight this season.
