Both men came in right on the limit for their welterweight clash at 147lbs, as Thurman looks to protect his unbeaten record and take another step closer to the biggest fights available in the division.
Meanwhile, Guerrero will be equally as keen to get the victory in order to get his career back on track, and so it promises to be an explosive night in Vegas as the ‘Premier Boxing Champions’ series gets underway.
Adrien Broner and John Molina Jr also weighed in on Friday, with the former one pound over the limit as he makes a disappointing start to his opportunity to shine on NBC.
Nevertheless, all four fighters appeared in a tense mood as Broner and Molina were first to exchange words during the head-to-head with the latter imploring his rival to look at him in the eyes which he declined.
Thurman appeared to initiate a conversation with Guerrero too as they squared off, and ultimately the countdown continues to fight night when they will all get the opportunity to do their talking in the ring and will look to produce impressive performances to steal the show.
