IBF welterweight title shot ahead if Brook can come through unscathed.
British star Kell Brook has weighed in ahead of his fight with Alvaro Robles at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on Saturday night and is confident that there will be no mistakes as he eyes a title shot this summer.
The 27-year-old will face either current IBF champion Shawn Porter or Paulie Malignaggi by July 19, after the pair will go toe-to-toe in the ring before April 19, with the winner then obliged to face Brook within 90 days.
Brook has revealed his delight with the prospect of finally fighting for a title after numerous setbacks, provided that he stays injury free, but also insisted that he is not overlooking his next opponent.
Robles will prove to be a tough task in what is essentially a warm-up fight for Brook, but he understands the importance of putting on a good performance and ultimately winning to keep himself in contention.
Brook fights on a packed bill in Liverpool, with Tony Bellew also in action as he makes the step up to cruiserweight in front of his home fans against Valery Brudov.
