Brook defends his IBF welterweight title for the second time in a matter of months as he looks to build some momentum heading into bigger fights later in the year.
However, he insists that he knows he can’t overlook his next opponent with Gavin capable of pulling off a huge upset provided that he gets it right on the night and performs at the best of his ability.
Nevertheless, Brook is adamant that he is on a “seek and destroy” mission this weekend as he wants to defend his belt and look good doing so in order to make a statement in a division packed with world class talent.
The pair were seen exchanging some words in the face off with Brook revealing to Sky Sports after that he warned his rival that “fun time was over” and encouraged him to come and fight tomorrow night in order to give the fans a real treat.
With a sold-out O2 Arena and thousands watching through pay-per-view purchases, this promises to be a sensational night for British boxing with the likes of Lee Selby and Kevin Mitchell in world title fights while Anthony Joshua returns to the ring hoping to silence the outspoken Kevin Johnson.
