Both men weighed in under the 147-pound limit, which was shown live on Sky, and look in great condition ahead of what is a significant night of boxing in the welterweight division.
Dan has established himself as the mandatory challenger for the belt, and Brook will be fully aware of the hunger he has to take his title after he was in a similar position last year prior to defeating Shawn Porter.
The Sheffield-born fighter will be fully aware of what is at stake in this bout as not only does he make his first title defence, but a stylish win will be a platform for him to secure big fights in the coming year.
While Sky Sports will broadcast the bout in the UK, it is also being shown live by Showtime in the USA as well as various other countries around the world.
The likes of Brandon Rios and Juan Manuel Marquez have been mentioned by promoter Eddie Hearn as possible future opponents for Brook if he gets through unscathed on Saturday night, while there is also the potential of a unification bout with either Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao further down the line.
