‘Black Mamba’ is now fourth as he continues to dominant.
During the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, there was a special moment for Kobe Bryant.
The Lakers legend scored 19 points and handed out 14 assists on the night as well as grabbing nine rebounds.
However, the big story was that mid-way through the second quarter, he passed Wilt Chamberlain for fourth on the all-time scoring list.
Bryant now trails Michael Jordan, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the league’s list of top scorers, and could potentially continue his ascent up the rankings should he maintain his current level.
The 34 year-old has hinted at possibly retiring at the end of next season, but as his career enters its final years, it is time to sit back and appreciate his game.
