The ‘Black Mamba’ puts on a show down the stretch to seal win over the Raptors.
The Los Angeles Lakers sealed an improbable victory at the Staples Center on Friday night, eventually defeating the Toronto Raptors 118-116 in overtime.
The win, which moves the Lakers to 32-31 for the season and leaves them hot on the heels of the Utah Jazz, came thanks to the late-game heroics of Kobe Bryant.
The ‘Black Mamba’ finished with 41 points on the night, but his show late in the fourth quarter was just the beginning as he secured the win in overtime with a big two-handed dunk.
The 34-year-old hit three nearly impossible 3-pointers late in the fourth to keep the Lakers in the game, producing yet another vintage performance to keep the team’s play-off hopes alive.
Take a bow Kobe!
