Zack Greinke broke his collarbone after a brawl that saw both benches clear mid-inning.
After a wild pitch that saw Greinke hit Padres batter Carlos Quentin on the shoulder, it was something the slugger didn’t take too kindly too.
After a momentary pause, Quentin charged the mound and started the fight, which led to players from both teams entering the diamond, as well as coaches and representatives from both sides.
The fight was eventually broken up, it was Grienke who had come off worst from the incident, as the pitcher suffered a broken collarbone, an injury that could put him out for two months.
Fights in baseball are not uncommon, and expect to see a few more of these as the season progresses.
