Argentine side Lanus were dumped out of the Copa Sudamericana last night by the unfancied Paraguayans Cerro Porteno.
They went into the game 2-1 behind from the first leg, but could only manage a draw in front of their own fans.

When Oscar Romero gave Cerro Porteno the lead in the first minute it meant the hosts would have to score at least twice to force extra time.
Diego Braghieri pulled one back before half-time thanks to a wonderful solo effort, but they couldn’t find the elusive second and lost 3-2 on aggregate.
