Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has completed the Ice Bucket Challenge and had a surprise in store for his nominations.
The push to raise money and awareness for ALS research continues across the globe, with the USA Basketball men’s national team joining in this past week with several members of the roster partaking in the challenge during training camp for the FIBA World Cup.
Having been challenged by Brandon Weems, Kevin Durant, Kevin Hart and DJ Steph Floss, James joined in and completed the challenge looking pretty relaxed on a boat, and in turn nominated his two sons LeBron Jr. and Bryce Maximus, as well as President Obama.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver has also participated in the challenge, but it remains to be seen whether or not the most powerful man in the US will join in.
The ALS Association announced on Saturday that they had surpassed $10m in “Ice Bucket” donations as the celebrity world continues to aid its cause with these viral videos which continue to raise awareness.
