The Malaysian Super League champions picked up their first win of the tournament.
Lions XII finally broke their Malaysia Cup duck with a routine win over Perak FA at the Jalan Besar Stadium on Saturday.
After picking up just one point from their first three games in Group D the Malaysian Super League champions desperately needed a three point haul and they made no mistake.
Singapore star Hariss Harun was the man to get the ball rolling after a goalless first half, nudging Lions into the lead in the 62nd minute only for Noor Hazrul to peg them back immediately by levelling for the Seladang four minutes later.
And with time running out Safuwan Baharudin popped up with five minutes remaining to grab a vital win for the home side.
