(Video) Lithuanian ice hockey player throws stick at ref after losing

Player launches stick out of frustration that connects with referee after the final whistle.

In a bizarre series of events after the final whistle of an under-18’s match between Lithuania and Great Britain, a Lithuanian player was so upset with the loss he decided to throw his stick..at the ref.

The ref took it very well, showing minimum pain, before going to defend the player as British players went to the Lithuanian player to confront him over the incident.

We’re not sure what is more amazing, the incident itself, or the fact that Great Britain actually won a Ice Hockey match!
