Luis Suarez sensational for the Reds once again!
Watch the highlights here, available at midnight Saturday evening.
Liverpool thrashed Fuham 4-0, thanks to a brace from Luis Suarez, an own goal, and a header from Martin Skrtel.
The Reds ditched their wing-back formation in favour of a 4-3-1-2 shape, and it worked, as it enabled Coutinho to dominate the match in the final third.
An unfortunate own goal early on put Fulham in a tricky situation, but the header from Martin Skrtel pretty much finished the Cottagers this afternoon. The Slovakian get on the end of a Steven Gerrard cross, and Luis Suarez finished nicely to give the Reds a 3-0 lead at half-time.
In the second, Brendan Rodgers brought off Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge, and Liverpool added another with a cool finish from Suarez. The striker could have easily scored a hat-trick, but couldn’t quite get his feet in the right place when gifted with a guilt edged chance.
Fulham were hapless all afternoon, and Dimitar Berbatov was booed off following a miserable performance.
The Reds go second, while Fulham sit nervously two points above the drop zone.
