Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has responded to West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce over jibes that his team employed long ball tactics during their 1-1 Premier League draw on Sunday.

In his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Burnley, van Gaal produced a four page dossier he had compiled to show that it was in fact Allardyce’s team that were more likely to hit the ball forward.
It’s safe to say that the West Ham chief may have managed to get under the skin of his opposite number at Old Trafford.
