(Video) Luke Schenn suffers injury after being struck by the puck on his head

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman leaves the rink after suffering painful injury.

Despite wearing a face mask on his helmet, Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn suffered a  horrible injury after the puck struck his face whilst defending a wayward slap shot.

With the rubber puck moving at approximately 70mph on impact, their was little the helmet could do to slow down the impact of the puck, leaving a large gash on the player’s face as he left the rink for treatment.
