Luton’s hopes of becoming the first non-league club since QPR in 1914 to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Cup were ended by a ruthless Millwall side at Kenilworth Road.
Two first half goals, the first inside the opening 15 minutes, and a late third from Dany N’Guessan capped a clinical performance and put Millwall into the draw for the last eight for the first time in nine years.
The Lions have now won their last 14 FA Cup games against lower league opposition. Luton, meanwhile, must now focus on closing the gap to the play-off places in the Conference.
