The latest bizarre clip to surface from the continent takes place at a Paraguayan regional fourth division match between Coronel Romero and El Porvenir.
After El Porvenir’s winger was cynically hacked down after a steaming run down the right wing the Coronel Romero players reacted badly to the ensuing red card.
These reactions led to yet more red cards, which then of course led to one of the angered players launching a flying kick at the referee’s face.
