Jose Mourinho’s men currently trail rivals Barcelona at the top of the table by an enormous 16 points, and will be expected to see off the challenge of the league’s last-placed side in Pamplona.
Rumours of Mourinho moving on at the end of the season, and the dropping of club captain and Spanish national goalkeeper Iker Casillas to the bench has created tension amongst the Real fans.

Stand-in keeper Antonio Adan was sent off in Real’s last league match, which means Casillas will start against Osasuna. But the issue of Casillas’ role in the team is still a touchy topic though.
When asked about the relationship between Mourinho and Casillas, Higuain would not be drawn:
“No, I’m not going there, because the team is united now. We support the coach, he is our coach and we respect him. We are with him and he is with us, and that’s what’s going to be the key to getting some titles at the end of the season.”
Osasuna did beat Madrid 1-0 at home two seasons ago, but perhaps this time they may have their eye on next weekend, when they play a potentially key relegation game against Deportivo La Coruna.
