Sudanese-born player stars as North Melbourne take down the Western Bulldogs.
Majak Daw kicked six goals – and could have had plenty more – as North Melbourne finished all over the top of the Western Bulldogs.
Daw was in breath-taking form, booting six goals four (and one shot that didn’t score), acting as the Kangaroos’ most dangerous focal point in attack.
However it was an ugly-looking knee injury to Andrew Swallow late in the match that took some gloss off the Kangaroos’ 22.19 (151) to 15.7 (97) victory.
Swallow had a quiet day by his standards with 18 disposals thanks to a stellar run-with role performed by Nick Lower.
Ryan Griffen was outstanding for the Bulldogs in his return with 34 disposals and a spectacular running goal while Daniel Giansiracusa booted four majors.
