Malaga CF rode out the first half storm from Borussia Dortmund to claim a 0-0 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter final.
The opening period was all the visitors, and Malaga were grateful for the half time whistle as Mario Goetze missed a couple of chances, Kevin Grosskreutz sidefooting wide and soon Dortmund had a goal chalked off as Robert Lewandowski was ruled offside.
After the break, Dortmund still dominated possession, with Ilkay Gundogan, but Malaga started to come into the game.
Isco hit a tremendous half volley through a crowd of players which was saved, and the match was more even until its conclusion.
The tie remains wide open for the second leg.
