Defender predicts a bright future for the club.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany says that the Premier League champions have a lot to be positive about next season.
City, who entertain struggling Wigan Athletic at the Ethiad stadium in the top flight on Wednesday night, overcame Chelsea 2-1 in Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley and will now take on the Latics in the final next month.
And, despite trailing city-rivals Manchester United by a massive 15 points at the top of the Premier League table with now just seven matches left to play this campaign, the Belgium international believes that the club’s recent good form, in both the top flight and the Cup, will stand them in good stead when it comes to regaining their title next season.
