Aussie driver lands a mean right cross in the pits in a heated exchange.
NASCAR driver Casey Mears just learnt a stiff lesson: don’t mess with Australian racers.
Mears and Marcos Ambrose had been entangled in an on-track incident in the closing laps of the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond, and the 36-year-old Californian decided to approach Ambrose to ‘discuss’ the matter after the race.
Mistake number one.
After a heated verbal exchange, television pictures showed Ambrose starting to walk away when Mears gives him a firm two handed shove in the back.
Mistake number two.
And well the video above explains the rest.
