Japan were dealt a severe reality check on Wednesday as they were thrashed 45-10 by Scotland at Gloucester’s Kingsholm Stadium.
The Asian underdogs went into the game on a massive high, having inflicted a stunning 34-32 defeat on South Africa at the weekend.
However, they were outclassed by the Scots, who ran in five tries, including this effort from Mark Bennett.
Japan briefly led in the first half, after Amanaki Mafi touched-down. That was their only try though.
John Hardie, Tommy Seymour, Finn Russell all scored Scottish tries, while Bennett crossed the whitewash twice.
