In front of a packed crowd at the Garden Arena, both men received a huge ovation as they made their way to the staging area as they got an idea of what it will be like heading to the ring on Saturday night.
Pacquiao looked calm and relaxed and had a smile on his face for the majority of the event, while Mayweather looked more focused and zoned in as they both took to the scales.
The unbeaten American weighed in at 146 pounds while Pacquiao tipped the scales at 145 pounds, both making the welterweight limit of 147 pounds with ease and so their three titles will be on the line.
However, fans got to see them face-to-face again and the atmosphere was electric ahead of what has been billed as the biggest fight in boxing history.
Both men addressed the fans shortly after they weighed in, with Pacquiao confirming that he had thanked Mayweather for agreeing to the fight and giving the fans what they wanted.
As ever, Pac-Man couldn’t help but find the face off a little funny and smirked through most of it as Mayweather remained fixed on his rival. Nevertheless, neither man will be in the mood for joking when the first bell rings on Saturday night as they finally settle their rivalry and answer the question as to who the pound-for-pound king of boxing is.
Given the clash of styles and personalities, it is hoped that the duo mix well and put on a performance that lives up to expectations.
