The New York Knicks made it six straight wins on Wednesday night, with their 108-101 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at Madison Square Garden.
J.R. Smith had his second consecutive 30-point game off the bench after going for 32 against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, ending the night with 35 points to lead the way for the Knicks.
Carmelo Anthony also had a productive game as he ended with 22 points, as New York move to 44-26 for the season and appear to be demonstrating the type of form that had many believing they could challenge in the post-season.
Mike Conley scored 26 points for the Grizzlies while Jerryd Bayless contributed a further 24, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a third loss in four games.
The Knicks welcome the Charlotte Bobcats on Friday, while the Grizzlies host the Houston Rockets on the same night.
