Miami roll past the Magic to take winning streak to 27 games.
LeBron James fell just one rebound short of a triple-double last night as the Miami Heat made it 27 consecutive wins with their 108-94 triumph over the Orlando Magic.
James finished with 24 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists as the Heat moved to 56-14 for the season and inched ever closer to the NBA record for the longest winning streak at 33.
The MVP candidate is averaging 27 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8 assists per game in the winning streak as he continues to drive the Heat forward.
Jameer Nelson did his best to help Orlando end the run, scoring 27 points on the night but it wasn’t enough, despite the continued absence of Dwyane Wade, who missed the second game running.
Miami head to Chicago on Wednesday, while the Magic are on the road to Charlotte to face the Bobcats on the same night.
