Heat seal 108-91 win in Toronto but face tough task on Monday night.
The Toronto Raptors were unable to bring an end to the Miami Heat’s record run, as they succumbed to a 108-91 loss on Sunday night.
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen all finished with more than 20 points, while Rudy Gay led the way for Toronto with a game-high 27 points.
However, the winning streak was never really in danger of coming to an end at the Air Canada Center, as Erik Spoelstra’s men move to 51-14 for the season at the top of the Eastern Conference.
While they enjoyed a relatively easy night against the Raptors, Miami may find it a little tougher on Monday when they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics.
Despite the loss of Rajon Rondo, Boston have worked their way back into play-off contention and have a good history against the Heat.
It will now be over to LeBron and Co. to see if they can pass their latest test.
