Low lying bridges force the Heat star to duck for cover on open-top bus.
Miami Heat star LeBron James had a few issues during his team’s victory parade through the city on Monday, being forced to duck under low lying bridges.
The celebrations continue for the Heat following their thrilling 4-3 series win in the NBA Finals 2013 over the San Antonio Spurs.
Victory ensured their second championship in two years as they will undoubtedly soon switch their attention to achieving the “three-peat” next season.
However, James was forced into drastic action during the open-top bus journey, before taking to the stage to give a speech in which he praised the Miami fans and hoped to bring more glory to the franchise next season.
Despite speculation suggesting a return to Cleveland, it would appear the Finals MVP is set to continue to make history at the AA Arena, and was joined on stage by his team-mates.
Chris Bosh praised the whole roster for their contributions during the Finals, while Dwyane Wade jokingly suggested that this title was for him having dedicated the previous two to other players.
However, it was James who stole the show as he earned a rapturous ovation when he stepped up to take to the microphone.
