Australian skipper Michael Clarke has again shown why he is one of the best Test batsmen in the world, after blasting 113 runs from 130 balls at the Gabba.

Tested with plenty of short balls from the England bowlers early in his knock, Clarke not only survived but thrived, as he and David Warner, put in a sizzling partnership as Australia continued to keep their foot on the throats of the England side.
