Vikings running believes the Super Bowl is a realistic shot for the upstart team.
League MVP and 2,000 yard rusher Adrian Peterson has not ruled out a Super Bowl appearance for the Minnesota Vikings next season, as the team looks to build on the unexpected Wild Card appearance they achieved last year.
Peterson rushed for over 2,000 yards last season and was the key reason to the team’s success, and he himself has set a lofty expectation of 2,500 yards next season, something that has never been done in the league before.
The NFC North team stockpiled their young talent on the roster as they made three first-round picks in the NFL Draft in April, and look set to continue their impressive run by challenging the Green Bay Packers in a very competitive NFC North division.
