No. 12 Mississippi State pulled off yet another shocking upset in an SEC matchup as they defeated No. 6 Texas A&M, 48-31.
Quarterback Dak Prescott had an impressive game as he threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-25 passing, and he added another 77 yards and three touchdowns on the ground to establish himself as a legitimate Heisman contender.
The Aggies offense began to show signs of life in the third quarter as they trimmed the Bulldogs’ lead to 34-17, but the Bulldogs immediately bit back with a 51-yard touchdown pass by Prescott.
