Watch as Johnson sends down a lightning bolt that breaks the arm of McLaren.
Australian bowler Mitchell Johnson has broken the arm of an opponent – but it wasn’t Jimmy Anderson.
Johnson sent South African Ryan McLaren to the medical room for the second time in six months after striking him in the side of the helmet during a test match back in February.
Last summer, Australian captain Michael Clarke was heard on a stump microphone telling England no.11 Anderson to “get ready for a broken f*****g arm” when Johnson was charging in to bowl.
To McLaren’s credit, he battled on through his innings but post-match South African officials announced McLaren had suffered a hairline fracture to his forearm.
