Overtime winner gives Ottawa two game lead in the playoffs series.
The Ottawa Senators needed an overtime winner to take a 3-1 series lead over Montreal in the battle of the Canadian teams in the NHL Playoffs.
Kyle Turris was the hero for the home side, as his overtime goal two minutes in gave the Senators a 3-2 win, and on the brink of the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
Ottawa were trailing the Canadiens with less than a minute left in regulation when Cory Conacher poked home a goal mouth scramble to send the game onto an extra period.
The home fans will remember this night for a long time, as turning a tied series into a 3-1 lead gives the team a huge amount of confidence for the rest of the playoffs.
