Swindon Town 1-4 Wigan Athletic
Sam Morsy scored his first goal for Wigan as the Latics thrashed Swindon on Good Friday to close to within three points of League One leaders Burton Albion.
Morsy – a January signing from Chesterfield – fired home from long range on 52 minutes.
It was Wigan’s third goal in less than five minutes, after Max Power had also got on the scoresheet and Will Grigg netted his second of the game.
Nicholas Ajose pulled one back for Swindon, who later had Nathan Thompson sent off in closing moments.
Wigan are now unbeaten in 17 games.
Morsy is not a prolific scorer. He notched seven times in 99 league games for Chesterfield, after bagging just four goals in 71 outings for Port Vale.
