Reims come from behind to beat Ligue 1’s basement club.
29′ [1 – 0] S. Puygrenier
48′ [1 – 1] F. Ayite
58′ [1 – 2] O. Fortes
Reims came from behind to win away from home for the first time since returning to Ligue 1, as Nancy’s resurgence was halted.
The Lorraine side had won their last two games, their first league wins since the opening day of the season, and took the lead through defender Sebastien Puygrenier on the half-hour.
But goals from Floyd Ayite and Odair Fortes in the second half turned the game around and handed Reims a precious three points.
Nancy remain bottom of the French top-tier, with just 18 points after 24 matches, while Reims climbed to 16th, still just one point above the drop zone.
