Video depicts the conflicting degrees of excitement after strikers arrive at airports.
As Napoli prepare to unveil former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain on Monday, a video comparing Edinson Cavani’s welcome in Paris has been made.
After Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis tweeted a photo of the pair signing the contract to confirm the striker’s move to the San Paolo, it has been announced that Higuain’s official unveiling will take place ahead of the friendly match with Galatasaray on Monday.

It is understood that 50,000 tickets have already been sold for the pre-game presentation and the match itself, with Pepe Reina also expected to be unveiled to the supporters after sealing his loan move from Liverpool.
However, naturally the majority of the excitement surrounds the arrival of the former Madrid star, with the 25-year-old agreeing to a five-year deal with the transfer fee reportedly worth €40m.
It promises to be a real challenge for the Argentinian who arrives with the expectation of replacing Cavani’s goals next season, which had fired the club to a second placed finish in Serie A.
Nevertheless, he would have been delighted with his greeting at the airport earlier this week where hundreds of Napoli fans travelled to Rome’s Fiumicino Airport ahead of the required medical tests, and it is expected that the reception he will receive in Naples itself will be even greater.
Meanwhile, Cavani experienced a less than dramatic arrival in Paris, and it would appear that De Laurentiis’ warning has come true after he told the Uruguayan international that he would never find supporters as passionate as those in Naples.
