Check out the amazing stoppage win mid-way through the first round.
In what was largely an unspectacular card as part of The Ultimate Fighter 18 finale, Nate Diaz walked away with the stoppage of the night after demolishing Gray Maynard well inside the first round.
Maynard needed the fight to get to the ground if he was to have a chance against the boxing of Diaz, who sowed his dominance on the feet early.
After getting back to his feet from a takedown, Diaz then proceeded to landed dozens of answered shots as he showed the ‘Bully’ a few tricks on his way to a TKO win 2.38 minutes into the first round.
It snaps a two-fight losing skid for Diaz and takes his record to 17-9 MMA and 12-7 inside the UFC, while Maynard slipped to 11-3-1 MMA and 9-3-1 UFC with the loss his second-in-a-row and third time in four fights he has been knocked out.
