Cleverly vs Bellew 2 head-to-head: (Video) Feuding pair came face to face earlier this year.
Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew will look to settle their rivalry once and for all on Saturday night, but the Welshman has the advantage after winning in 2011.
With the war of words coming to a head in a press conference in London in May 2011, the pair were unable to face off after Bellew failed to make the weight after being called in at short notice.
There were no issues later in the year as the pair squared off at the Echo Arena with Cleverly taking a points decision in a close fight as Bellew proved that he deserved to be at that level.
Nevertheless, that did little to settle their differences after Bellew was left annoyed by his opponent’s post-fight press conference in which he suggested that it was an easy win and that a rematch was not necessary.
Ultimately, that has led to the two fighters crossing paths again, this time at cruiserweight, but regardless of the weight limit they are expected to put on another explosive show.
The undercard is full of talent this time round too with the likes of James DeGale, Anthony Joshua, George Groves and Callum Smith all featuring as British boxing prepares for another huge night.
