1. Nerlens Noel – Cleveland Cavaliers
Despite suffering a torn ACL back in February, Kentucky’s Nerlens Noel takes top spot, with the Cavaliers looking for a presence inside the paint, particularly on the defensive end.
The youngster led the way in shots blocked last season prior to his injury, and although there are concerns over his knee, it is expected the Cavs will grab him at the first opportunity.
Don’t expect him to make an immediate impact on the NBA, but given time for his knee to heal and to get up to speed with the league, he is certainly a solid bet for the future.
