Historic night as deeply talented draft class prepare to enter the NBA.
The NBA have shared an all-access look behind the scenes as four of the top prospects in the NBA Draft 2014 prepared for their big night and shared their reaction to being selected.
Despite much difference of opinion on who would be selected first, the Cleveland Cavaliers ended the debate after selecting Andrew Wiggins with the first overall pick.
Nevertheless, Jabari Parker wasn’t made to wait too long as the Milwaukee Bucks secured his services with the No.2 pick before Joel Embiid completed the top three and will head to Philadelphia to play for the 76ers when he recovers from injury.
While experts insisted that this was the deepest and most talented draft class in many years, it remains to be seen how these young hopefuls adapt to the league with Parker having the additional honour of travelling to London in January 2015 to play against the New York Knicks as part of the NBA’s Global Games.
Meanwhile, Australian starlet Dante Exum will be looking to make an impact with the Utah Jazz despite many questioning whether or not he is ready for the NBA, while Julius Randle has made no secret of his desire to learn from Kobe Bryant as he is set for the Los Angeles Lakers.
