The Cavs trail the Golden State Warriors 54-42 at half-time, with Draymond Green leading the charge for the visitors with 13 points, four rebounds and three assists.
However, it has mostly been a shared effort from Golden State as they have played at a much better tempo which in turn has enabled them to improve their efficiency on offense.
Timofey Mozgov has a team-high 13 points for the Cavs as he makes the most of the smaller line-up from the Western Conference champions, while LeBron has 10 points, three rebounds and three assists at the break.
The two-time NBA champion gave his fans a real scare though during the second quarter as after he was fouled, his momentum sent him crashing into a cameraman by the basket stanchion.
The 30-year-old went head first into the equipment and was left nursing a bad gash on his head which effected his play thereafter as he took time to get to his feet and had to stop the bleeding with a towel.
It remains to be seen if it continues to bother him in the second half, but Cleveland will have the opportunity to patch him up and send him back out with the objective to turn things around.
