Heat lead 50-45 at the break hoping to tie the series.
The San Antonio Spurs trail by five points at the half, with the Miami Heat leading 50-45 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at the AA Arena.
Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers lead the scoring for the hosts with 10 points apiece, while LeBron James has been limited to just four points, four assists and one rebound thus far.
The visitors have found their rhythm from beyond the arc though, most notably Danny Green who is 4-4 from three-point range, and leads the Spurs with 12 points.
However, coach Gregg Popovich will not be pleased with the number of turnovers his team have been guilty of in the first two quarters, and will want to reduce them if San Antonio have hopes of taking a 2-0 series lead.
Further, Miami have enjoyed strong production off their bench and will be looking for more of the same as they head into the second half, although there may be slight worries as the game progressing with Wade admitting to tiredness in his half-time interview.
